I am a healthcare venture capitalist (VC) working primarily in New York City, but traveling everywhere looking for great new companies. I enjoy helping entrepreneurs build their businesses and I love exploring innovation in the healthcare sector, something I have done as a VC for the past 15 years and which I expect will amount to a lifelong challenge.
My wife (Danielle Krupa) and I live here in New York City, where we share all sorts of common interests including yoga, fitness, music, film, photography, the Yankees/Giants/Rangers/Knicks, the pursuit of long-term health, and most importantly raising our 18-month old daughter, Audrey.
Here I’ll be posting as often as I can on subjects including healthcare, investing, venture capital, finance and their respective peripherals, along with some hopefully interesting insights on my personal passions.

Enjoyed your comments on A-Rod. As a lifelong Red Sox fan, transplanted to SF I’m familiar with Barry and all his baggage. I realize my feelings are tainted by my Red Sox affiliation, but A-Rod makes it so tough to like him. From his off-field activities to the way he handles himself on the field, he takes all the joy out of rooting for him.
Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, and even Carl Yastrzemski were the heroes of my youth and I have a tough time thinking young fans will ever see the current stars the same way we did. Maybe it was just the times, or the lack of real media coverage of off-field activities, but what you felt for Hammerin’ Hank will never be duplicated.
But we can hope.
